Roofing Safety: The ABCs of PPE
Question: What types of personal protective equipment should be worn while working on a commercial roof?
Answer: We want to make sure that we’re protecting our employees from any types of hazards. So, of course that always means wearing the right personal protective equipment, known as PPE. From the head down to the toes, hard hats, ANSI-approved safety glasses, gloves and approved safety boots are necessary to make sure all employees are working safely. Depending on other factors, including weather, it may be prudent to require additional types of PPE.
