Several sections of the facility’s roof were experiencing persistent leaks, impacting the daily operations and client experience. It was also a concern as the customer was considering selling the building. The main roof section was a single ply membrane and the customer had no record of when it was installed or its condition.

The SR PreVision technicians from Simon Roofing performed an inspection on the roof and it was rated AMBER, with Simon Roofing performed an SR PreVision inspection/analysis, which includes a visual inspection, infrared scanning and rigorous testing of the membrane in our state-of-the-art laboratory to determine the condition of each roof section. Based upon this condition report, the main roof section was identified as a candidate for a restoration, while the two smaller sections required a tear-off and replacement.
Simon Roofing technicians resolved insulation issues on the main roof and then installed SR 461b – a restoration solution that included multiple coats of our own Wite Brite™ coating and SR Poly to create a seamless and waterproof surface across the roof. The existing roof on the adjacent section was removed down to the deck and SR 454MA replacement system was installed which included SuperiorPly SAM 6 membrane, followed by multiple layers of Wite Brite™ coating and SR Poly.
